Classics in the Classroom

'Classics in the Classroom' is a project envisioned by the Somernites Cruise team in conjunction with Somerset Automotive Group. Representatives from both organizations contacted the Pulaski County ATC Automotive Technology program in late 2008 to gauge interest in a concept to build a ‘71 Chevelle to take part in the Hot Rod magazine Power Tour. Of course, the high school students were more than interested. The project car will use components donated by sponsors who wish to help high school students learn work skills which will enhance their employability.
